Baseball Recap: Plainfield East Takes a Loss

Plainfield East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Joliet West Tigers, falling 13-3. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, with their most recent loss being a 11-2 defeat on Tuesday.

Plainfield East's loss dropped their record down to 7-23-1. As for Joliet West, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-15.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Plainfield East will square off against rival Romeoville at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Joliet West is set to face off against their familiar foe Plainfield Central at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
