Basketball Recap: North Harrison Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Grace Goldman and Olivia Brown

North Harrison was the 61-57 winner over Brownstown Central when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The North Harrison Cougars fell 53-42 to the Brownstown Central Braves on Thursday.

North Harrison's loss came despite strong showings from Olivia Brown and Grace Goldman. Brown went 6 of 8 on her way to 15 points, while Goldman went 5 for 11 en route to 16 points and five boards. Brown's evening made it five games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Carlee Chatman, who posted five points.

North Harrison's loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Brownstown Central, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-5.

North Harrison does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Brownstown Central, they will challenge Brown County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Brownstown Central is facing Brown County at the right time seeing as Brown County is stuck on a 15-game losing streak.
