Anson had already won eight in a row and they went ahead and made it nine on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Piedmont Panthers as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

Anson walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-21, 25-13, 25-18.

Leading Anson to victory were Hannah Austin and Sophia Yang. Austin had 12 digs and three assists, while Yang had nine digs and three aces. Austin is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last 11 games she's played.

Anson's record now sits at 19-2. As for Piedmont, they dropped their record down to 8-12 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

Anson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Piedmont, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Charlotte Catholic on the 9th.
