Baseball Game Preview: Second Baptist Eagles vs. Clear Brook Wolverines

The Second Baptist Eagles will venture away from home to challenge the Clear Brook Wolverines at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. Clear Brook took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Second Baptist, who comes in off a win.

Second Baptist is headed out to face Clear Brook after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. The Eagles came out on top in a nail-biter against Tomball Kings on February 6th, sneaking past 4-2. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Homeschool: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Clear Brook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 7-0 to St. Thomas Catholic. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Wolverines were not able to get on the board.

Second Baptist was able to grind out a solid win over Clear Brook in their previous matchup back in February of 2025, winning 6-1. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wolverines turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
