Softball Recap: Tri Titans vs. Columbus East Olympians

Tri fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Columbus East on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Columbus East Olympians by a score of 4-2. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, Tri couldn't push the score so high this time.

Tri will head out on the road to challenge Knightstown at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Knightstown will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Tri surely won't give up without a fight. As for Columbus East, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Jeffersonville at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Jeffersonville is coming into the match with three straight victories on the road, so Columbus East will have to stop a team with plenty of momentum.
