Baseball Recap: Winterset Snags Fourth Victory in Last Five Games

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Winterset and A-D-M meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Wednesday. The Huskies came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 7-4. That's more bragging rights for the Huskies, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Winterset has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season. As for A-D-M, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-10.

Winterset wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 6-1 win against Carroll on the 12th. As for A-D-M, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-0 loss against North Polk on the 12th.
