Basketball Recap: Santana Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Santana suffered their closest defeat since January 24th on Monday. They fell just short of the Canyon Crest Academy Ravens by a score of 58-56. The Sultans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Canyon Crest Academy found their leader in freshman Zain Fadlu-Deen, who went 10-for-17 to rack up 25 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Boaz Katchalski, who posted eight points.

Santana's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Canyon Crest Academy, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Santana has already played their next matchup, a 64-58 win against Sweetwater on the 25th. As for Canyon Crest Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 62-40 defeat against Coronado on the 26th.
