Oxnard's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against the Dos Pueblos Chargers by a score of 3-1. The Yellowjackets haven't had any issues with the Chargers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Oxnard was especially dominant in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-27, 25-23, 25-15.

Leilah McDougald paced Oxnard's offense, picking up 18 kills. McDougald got some help from Maya Cunningham and her 38 assists. Jessica Camarillo and Mila Hernandez kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with five aces apiece.

Oxnard's win bumped their record up to 12-22. As for Dos Pueblos, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-22 record this season.
