Football Recap: Iroquois Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Iroquois's offense. They took a blow against the Eisenhower Knights on Friday, falling 34-0. The Braves haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Chase Cocolin threw for 54 yards on eight of 19 attempts.

Logan Penley had an outrageously good game for Eisenhower as he rushed for 83 yards and four touchdowns. Those four rushing touchdowns gave Penley a new career-high.

Iroquois' defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Eisenhower, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Iroquois is set to take on their familiar foe Union City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Eisenhower will face off against rival Northwestern at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
