Basketball Recap: Bellows Falls Extends Winning Streak to Five

Bellows Falls waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 44-34 victory over the Twin Valley Wildcats. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 47-33 last Monday.

Bellows Falls found their leader in sophomore Abby Nystrom, who posted 20 points. Another player making a difference was Aubrey Maxfield, who had ten points and seven boards.

Bellows Falls smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in 29 consecutive contests dating back to last season.

Bellows Falls' win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Twin Valley, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-5.
