Morse has gone a perfect 3-0 against Hoover recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Tigers will face off against the Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

Morse is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They blew past Monte Vista 50-12. The Tigers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Morse to victory, but perhaps none more so than De'Vell Green, who picked up 129 receiving yards and two TDs. Green also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making six total tackles and defending one pass. Ethan Esmailian was another key passer, throwing for 140 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Morse didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Superior Garror. He also punched in three rushing touchdowns, which is notable because Morse is undefeated when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 0-4 otherwise.

Meanwhile, Hoover hadn't done well against Canyon Hills recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Friday's game might be decided on the ground. Morse has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 166.8 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Hoover struggles in that department as they've been averaging 165.7 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.

Everything came up roses for Morse against Hoover in their previous matchup back in September of 2017, as the squad secured a 48-6 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
