Cass Tech strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They never let the Southfield Arts & Tech Warriors get on the board and left with a 14-0 victory. Give the Technicians' pitching crew some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Cass Tech's win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-0. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.4 runs over those games. As for Southfield Arts & Tech, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cass Tech will venture away from home to challenge Inter-City Baptist at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
