Basketball Recap: Sierra Takes a Loss

Sierra was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Palisade Bulldogs 99-21.

Skylar Woods went supernova for Palisade, going 10 of 16 on his way to 20 points along with six rebounds and six steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Hayward, who went 5 of 7 en route to 11 points along with seven assists and five steals.

Sierra's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Palisade, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Sierra has already played their next game, a 66-19 defeat against Pueblo County on the 13th. As for Palisade, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 57-53 victory against Denver North on the 13th.
