Soccer Recap: Beaver Takes a Loss

After soaring to five goals the game before, Beaver was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Grand County Red Devils. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Beavers of the 3-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Their goal came courtesy of Deagan Honer, who's now up to two this season.

Beaver's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Grand County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Coming up, Beaver is taking a road trip to challenge Millard at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Beaver's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Grand County, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-3 win against South Sevier on the 10th.
