Basketball Recap: Denver Nelson Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Tournament Opponent

Pathway Christian won the last time they faced Tournament Opponent and things went their way on Saturday too. The Pathway Christian Panthers walked away with a 55-47 win over Tournament Opponent. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pathway Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Denver Nelson, who went 5-for-11 en route to 14 points along with eight assists and five rebounds. Nelson has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Preston Yutzy was another key player, putting up 21 points in addition to seven boards and three steals.

Pathway Christian's victory bumped their record up to 15-11.
