Football Game Preview: Stagg Chargers vs. Andrew Thunderbolts

Stagg hasn't had much luck against Andrew recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Chargers will welcome the Thunderbolts at 6:00 p.m. Stagg has given up an average of 37.2 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Stagg took a blow against Bradley-Bourbonnais, falling 40-6. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 324th, while the Boilermakers are ranked 39th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Andrew). They breezed past Hammond Central to the tune of 52-0 on Friday. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Thunderbolts had established a 38-point advantage.

Andrew now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Stagg, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
