Soccer Recap: Southern Guilford Takes a Loss

Southern Guilford came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Dudley Panthers, falling 8-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Southern Guilford were already down 7-1.

Their goal came courtesy of Anthony Silva, who's now up to four this season.

Southern Guilford's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Dudley, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Southern Guilford wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 4-3 loss against High Point Central on the 27th. As for Dudley, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 10-1 win against T.W. Andrews on the 28th.
