There's no place like home for Hammond Central, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the River Forest Ingots on Monday. The Wolves haven't had any issues with the Ingots recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Hammond Central never let River Forest on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-19, 25-23.

Brianna Stephens paced Hammond Central's offense, picking up ten kills. Stephens got some help from Julianna Galan and her 32 assists. Shyanne Spangler controlled things from the service line, finishing with nine aces.

Hammond Central now has a winning record of 10-9. As for River Forest, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-14.
