Soccer Game Preview: Phillips vs. Three Lakes/Phelps

The Phillips Loggers will face off against Three Lakes/Phelps at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Phillips' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Phillips came up short against Antigo last Monday, falling 9-1. Phillips were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-1.

Meanwhile, after soaring to eight goals the game before, Three Lakes/Phelps was a bit more limited in their game on Saturday. They lost 8-0 to Washburn.

Three Lakes/Phelps' loss dropped their record down to 2-5-2. As for Phillips, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Phillips might still be hurting after the 8-3 loss they got from Three Lakes/Phelps in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Can the Loggers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
