Baseball Recap: Galion Extends Winning Streak to Six

Galion had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Pleasant on Tuesday. The Tigers put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 13-3 victory. Considering the Tigers have won three matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was Galion's sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Pleasant, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.
