Basketball Game Preview: Sycamore Aviators vs. Mason Comets

Sycamore is 1-9 against Mason since December of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Sycamore Aviators will host the Mason Comets at 1:45 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Wednesday, Sycamore earned a 58-45 win over Fairfield. Given the Aviators' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 144th, while the Indians are ranked 350th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Sycamore is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.4 points per game. As for Mason, their victory was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-1.
