Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hillside). They breezed past the East Chapel Hill Wildcats to the tune of 51-0 on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Hornets, who have now won six games by 21 points or more so far this season.
Hillside was led to victory by Daniel Smith and Ke'Mari Marable. Smith rushed for 105 yards and three touchdowns on only six carries, while Marable rushed for 70 yards and a pair of TDs on only five carries. Those 70 rushing yards gave Marable a new career-high.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Hillside was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 235 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 180 rushing yards in four consecutive contests.
