Basketball Recap: Make It Seven in a Row for Katz Yeshiva

Katz Yeshiva put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by a 50-30 margin over the Donna Klein Jewish Academy Eagles. The Storm have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 20 points or more this season.

Katz Yeshiva pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Donna Klein Jewish Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Katz Yeshiva and St. John Paul II Academy will compete for holiday cheer at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Katz Yeshiva's defense has only allowed 24.3 points per game this season, so St. John Paul II Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Donna Klein Jewish Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Berean Christian at 4:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
