Central Valley Academy lost to Vernon-Verona-Sherrill back in January, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Central Valley Academy Thunder were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Vernon-Verona-Sherrill Red Devils. The win was nothing new for the Thunder as they're now sitting on three straight.

Central Valley Academy never let Vernon-Verona-Sherrill on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-23, 25-21.

Central Valley Academy's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-1. As for Vernon-Verona-Sherrill, their loss dropped their record down to 10-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Valley Academy will take on Chittenango at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Chittenango will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Central Valley Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Vernon-Verona-Sherrill, they will welcome Oneida at 7:00 p.m. on February 11th.
