Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Conotton Valley). They put the hurt on the Catholic Central Crusaders with a sharp 47-26 win on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Rockets, who have now won five matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.

A big part of Conotton Valley's victory came down to the chemistry between Zachary Putnam and his top target Gavin Haney. Putnam threw for 369 yards and four touchdowns while Haney gained 266 total yards and two touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave Haney a new career-high in rushing yards (112). Brooks Bower also helped out as he racked up 127 receiving yards.

Conotton Valley has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Catholic Central, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-3.
