Stall had lost seven straight at home, but on Friday they dropped their record down to 2-13 to make it eight. They lost 16-0 to the Fort Dorchester Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, with their most recent defeat being a 10-0 loss on Wednesday.

As for Fort Dorchester, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

For Fort Dorchester's part, Thomas Wamer looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Wamer has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Cash Crone was excellent, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Lee Lovelace was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one triple.
