Baseball Game Preview: Rootstown Rovers vs. Cuyahoga Falls Black Tigers

The Rootstown Rovers will head out on the road to challenge the Cuyahoga Falls Black Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Cuyahoga Falls took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Rootstown, who comes in off a win.

Rootstown was handed a 11-run defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 win over Salem.

Meanwhile, Cuyahoga Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Norton, falling 13-3. That's two games in a row now that the Black Tigers have lost by exactly ten runs.

Braylon Davis was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Rootstown's victory bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Cuyahoga Falls, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-16.
