Basketball Recap: Kimberly Takes a Loss

Kimberly lost against Fond du Lac back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Kimberly Papermakers fell 76-66 to the Fond du Lac Cardinals. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (63), the Papermakers still had to take the loss.

Kimberly's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Fond du Lac, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kimberly will square off against Kaukauna at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Kaukauna will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something Kimberly surely won't give up without a fight. As for Fond du Lac, they will face off against Oshkosh North at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Oshkosh North knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 games -- so hopefully Fond du Lac likes a good challenge.
