Fremont had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Grand Island Islanders. That's two games straight that Fremont have won by just one goal.

Emma Diers and Maira Fiscus scored both of Fremont's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.

Fremont's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Grand Island, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.
