Softball Recap: Riverside Takes a Loss

Riverside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 18-2 to the Sandalwood Saints. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Generals couldn't push the score so high this time.

C Emanuel made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole Two bases. while getting on base in both of her plate appearances.

Riverside's record is now 0-2. As for Sandalwood, the win snapped their losing streak at six games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-4 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverside will head out to challenge ED White at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sandalwood, they will venture away from home to take on Providence School at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sandalwood will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
