Calvary Christian had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32.3 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They came out on top against the Asheboro Hybrid Academy Warriors by a score of 64-54.

Despite the defeat, Asheboro Hybrid Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Landon Hudson dropped a double-double on 23 points and 11 boards. Those 23 points gave Hudson a new career-high. Corbin Steadman was another key player, putting up eight points and eight rebounds.
