Baseball Recap: Gilman Takes a Loss

Gilman fell victim to Neillsville/Granton and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 6-0 to the Warriors. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Pirates' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Gilman's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Neillsville/Granton, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.

While Gilman had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
