Volleyball Recap: Seton Catholic Cardinals vs. Daleville Broncos

Seton Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Daleville Broncos. The Cardinals were not able to make up for their loss to the Broncos from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Seton Catholic sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-15, 21-25, 25-10, 24-26, 15-5.

Taryn Tremain paced Seton Catholic's offense, picking up 16 kills. Tremain got some help from Peyton Anderson and her 19 assists. Anderson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Seton Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Daleville, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-5.
