Basketball Recap: Christian Ministries Academy Makes It 12 in a Row at Home

Christian Ministries Academy had won 11 straight home games dating back to last season and Gavin Hicks did his part to make it 12 on Tuesday. Everything went the Christian Ministries Academy Conquerors' way against the Valley Christian River Hawks as the Christian Ministries Academy Conquerors made off with a 67-46 win thanks in part to Hicks, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and ten boards. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 19 games he's played dating back to last season.

Another player making a difference was Nolan Bradshaw, who almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds. What's more, he also racked up seven steals, the most he's had since back in October of 2024.

Christian Ministries Academy is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.1 points per game. As for Valley Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-7.
