Hoover strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against the GlenOak Golden Eagles by a score of 28-21. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Vikings also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Hoover's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for GlenOak, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hoover is set to challenge their familiar foe McKinley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Vikings 12, the Bulldogs 13.7) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, GlenOak will face off against rival Green at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
