Bethany Community was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-19, 25-16.

Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Chatham Central rose to the challenge on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Royals. The victory continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Royals: they've now won four in a row.

Chatham Central's win bumped their record up to 12-13. As for Bethany Community, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-10.
