Basketball Recap: Yuma Outlaws vs. Wiggins Tigers
Yuma lost against Wiggins back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Yuma Outlaws took a hard 42-25 fall against the Wiggins Tigers. The matchup marked the Outlaws' lowest-scoring game so far this season.
Jade Lungwitz was Yuma's leading scorer, having posted nine points. Bailey Nighswonger held things down on the boards with five rebounds. Carolina Ross took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with three assists.
Kennedy Kerr continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Wiggins, shooting 63% from the field en route to 14 points in addition to six boards and five assists. Kerr also grabbed five steals, which is notable because Wiggins is 12-4 when she posts at least three steals, but 3-4 otherwise.
