Basketball Recap: Graphics Takes a Loss

Graphics won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Thursday. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Beacon Blue Demons an easy 49-28 victory. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against Graphics this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 63-37 on December 3rd.

Graphics' loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Beacon, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-4.

Graphics will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Health Profession at 4:30 p.m. on January 2, 2025. Beacon will also get a bit of a break before their next match: they'll face off against Stuyvesant at 10:00 a.m. on January 4, 2025.
