Volleyball Recap: Sand Rock Comes Up Short

Sand Rock and Winston County squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Sand Rock had to settle for second. They came up short against the Yellowjackets, falling 3-0. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Yellowjackets when the teams met back in October of 2017, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Sand Rock and nudges their season record down to 15-21. As for Winston County, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-13 record this season.

As of now, neither Sand Rock nor Winston County have any future games scheduled.
