The Glen Iris Baptist Swordsmen stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. Everything went their way against Brooklane Baptist as Glen Iris Baptist made off with a 75-53 victory. The win was just what Glen Iris Baptist needed coming off of a 52-32 defeat in their prior match.

It was another big night for Joshua Everett, who scored 17 points along with six assists and four steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jackson Dickey, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.

Glen Iris Baptist pushed their record up to 11-3 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.4 points per game. As for Brooklane Baptist, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glen Iris Baptist will take on Providence Classical at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Providence Classical is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games. Brooklane Baptist won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Valley Fellowship Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 19th.
