Baseball Game Preview: Senatobia Warriors vs. Cleveland Central Wolves

The Senatobia Warriors will square off against the Cleveland Central Wolves at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Senatobia will be strutting in after a win while Cleveland Central will be coming in after a loss.

Senatobia is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They walked away with a 10-6 victory over Olive Branch on Thursday. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Conquistadors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Cleveland Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against South Panola, falling 13-2.

Cleveland Central saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Christian McKinney, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. What's more, McKinney posted two hits, the most he's had since back in April of 2024.

Even though they lost, Cleveland Central was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .389. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Cleveland Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Senatobia, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
