Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Takini). They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat the Newell Irrigators 68-36. The Skyhawks not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since February 9, 2024.

Takini's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-13. As for Newell, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Takini beat Newell by a score of 68-36 on Monday.
