The Perkins Pirates are taking a road trip to challenge the Bellevue Redmen at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Perkins is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season.

On Friday, Perkins earned a 4-1 win over Sandusky. The Pirates haven't had any issues with the Blue Streaks recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Braxden Martin spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Perkins saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Quentin Binette, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI.

Meanwhile, Bellevue beat Columbian 5-2 on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Redmen.

Perkins' record now sits at 5-2. As for Bellevue, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Perkins skirted past Bellevue 4-2 when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Will the Pirates repeat their success, or do the Redmen have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
