South Sevier came tearing into Tuesday's game with 14 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Kanab Cowboys 18-3. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won ten contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

Kaitlyn Lynch looked comfortable as she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Kinsey Parsons, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Caitlin Nielson, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

South Sevier hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least three batters in four consecutive matchups.

South Sevier pushed their record up to 15-1 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Kanab, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Sevier will challenge Parowan at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Kanab, they will face off against Piute at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
