Softball Recap: Peddie Starts Season with Loss at Home

Peddie unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 13-2 to the West Windsor-Plainsboro South Pirates on Tuesday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 13 in a row.

Peddie saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chloe Salapatas, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Peddie will welcome Montgomery at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for West Windsor-Plainsboro South, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Moorestown at 4:15 p.m.
