Baseball Recap: Woodstock Academy Gets the Win

Montville typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Woodstock Academy proved too difficult a challenge. They won by a run and slipped past the Wolves 5-4. The Centaurs haven't had any issues with the Wolves recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Woodstock Academy's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Camden Nason, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Those two hits gave Nason a new career-high.

The victory got Woodstock Academy back to even at 8-8. As for Montville, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Woodstock Academy will welcome Fitch at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The last four games the Falcons have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Montville, they will host Bacon Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
