Soccer Game Preview: Lewis-Palmer vs. Pueblo County

The Lewis-Palmer Rangers are taking a road trip to challenge the Pueblo County Hornets at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Lewis-Palmer's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They blew past Discovery Canyon 3-0. Brooklyn Ellis had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Lewis-Palmer.

Meanwhile, Pueblo County got the win against Pueblo Central on Tuesday by a conclusive 10-0. The result was nothing new for Pueblo County, who have now won four games by three goals or more so far this season.

Pueblo County is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-1-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 26 goals over those five matchups. As for Lewis-Palmer, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-3-2.
