Basketball Recap: Jamestown Beats Frontier for Their Third Straight Win

Jamestown waltzed into their game on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They strolled past the Frontier Falcons with points to spare, taking the game 76-58. Given the Red & Green's advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 36th, while the Falcons are ranked 575th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Jamestown's victory bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Frontier, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Coming up, Jamestown will square off against Rush-Henrietta at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Jamestown knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 15 contests -- so hopefully Rush-Henrietta likes a good challenge. As for Frontier, they will head out on the road to challenge Orchard Park at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
