Basketball Game Preview: Scott Skyhawks vs. Riverside Warriors

The Scott Skyhawks will take on the Riverside Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in Scott's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Riverside has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.

Last Friday, in a tight match that could have gone either way, Scott made off with a 55-54 win over Calhoun.

Meanwhile, Riverside ended up a good deal behind Capital on Saturday and lost 65-49.

Scott will have to contain Cianna Groom as she made an impact in Riverside's last game. She dropped a double-double with 15 points and 14 boards. Riverside is 2-1 when Groom posts 15 or more points, but 2-15 otherwise. Ava Ward was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with ten points and nine rebounds.

Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Scott, their victory bumped their record up to 9-10.
