Basketball Recap: Quince Orchard Takes a Loss

Quince Orchard lost against Northwest back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Quince Orchard Cougars fell to the Northwest Jaguars 68-63. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Northwest to victory, but perhaps none more so than Anthony Wells, who went 9-for-14 on his way to 20 points. Wells is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Alexander Greenfield, who went 5-for-7 to rack up 13 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.

Quince Orchard's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Northwest, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-4.

Looking ahead, Quince Orchard will challenge Kennedy on Friday. As for Northwest, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Northwood at 6:00 p.m.
